Several supervisors active in SuperCol published two independent research articles explaining how the use of super-resolution microscopy can shed new light on the molecular composition of materials. The first article, authored by Frank Scheffold from the University of Fribourg, discusses recent advances in the characterization of microgels. The second article, co-authored by Ilja Voets and Peter Zijlstra, discussed the correlation of different microscopy techniques for the characterization and optimization of polymeric materials. Both articles discuss techniques that are at the core of SuperCol and will be the basis for our future findings!
