Outreach: Jui-Kai Chen demonstrates microscopy

On April 22, during the Open Day at KULeuven, Jui-Kai (ESR-05) gave a demonstration of how SEM microscopy works.

There were 85 attendants, including secondary students and their parents. Jui-Kai explained the mechanism of SEM and how an optical microscope can be integrated for more applications. The visitors saw human hairs, pollen, and the scanning of e-beam visualized by cathodoluminescence.
