Secondment: Francesca Mazzotta travels to Eindhoven University of Technology

Francesca Mazzotta (ESR 06) from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI-P), visited Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) during the months of May and June. She has optimized her functionalized polymeric nanoparticle synthesis in her host institute and can now embrace DNA-PAINT with Bárbara Malheiros and Bahar Rouhvand (ESRs 9 and 14). She will use the technique to localize and statistically quantify the various functional groups she has on her nanoparticles.

In order to achieve a multidisciplinary and intersectoral training of the ESR’s in the SuperCol network, each ESR will experience short internships at the SuperCol partner organizations and industrial beneficiaries.
